We rebuilt our own website.
Moved from WordPress to a static site — and measured everything. No marketing, real numbers from Google Lighthouse.

Notice it? The old site greets you with a cookie banner. The new one needs none — it's built cookie-free.

Beyond the numbers
- No system to maintain or hack — just static files instead of WordPress, plugins and a database.
- No cookie banner. Built cookie-free, no third parties — GDPR-clean without the nag.
- Self-hosted fonts, no external calls — no visitor data leaves the page on load.
- Publishing via a Git push instead of clicking in a page builder — fast, versioned, traceable.
Measured with Google Lighthouse (mobile, throttled) on 2026-07-28 — the new site straight from the live server. The old site was solid, already 100/100 on Best Practices and SEO; the new one scores a perfect 100 in all four categories.
